TIRAMISU MAGNOLIA
This is the final cake I did for Dave and Candice's wedding on June 8th, 2002. The entire thing is edible except the glass dish that the magnolia topper sits in. The topper is a gum paste (sugar) magnolia. I really enjoyed making the topper and trying to make it as true to life as possible. The cake is tiramisu cake with white chocolate cream cheese frosting. The green ribbon is made from fondant as well as the pearl trim. I really like the simple design of this cake and how the bow ascends in size from the top to the bottom.
