TIRAMISU ELEGANCE

This is the cake I made for my friend, Jeanette's, 24th birthday on October 8th, 2001. Again, I was trying to get away from traditional colors and design. Jeanette has such a lively personality, that I wanted to try and capture it in the design of her cake. Purple also happens to be her favorite color and she loves fresh flowers. So, this is what I came up with. The top and bottom tiers are dark chocolate cake while the middle tier is lemon. I used a raspberry coconut cream filling and simple buttercream icing. Fresh gerbera daisies for garnish. It almost couldn't get any livelier!
