FLOWER FAIRY

This is the cake I made for Takenya Herman's 5th birthday in February, 2002!  It is a rich chocolate cake with buttercream filling and icing.  The fairy is made of white cake with speckles of pink and purple in the batter.  The daisy is made from fondant and the flowers on the sides of the cake are royal icing.  I put gummy worms in the filling for an extra earthy effect!  Takenya absolutely loved the cake, as you can tell by her expression when she saw it.
